WRAP is not-for-profit, working with governments, businesses, and citizens to create a world in which we source and use resources sustainably.

Our experts generate the evidence-based solutions we need to protect the environment, build stronger economies and support more sustainable societies.

Our impact spans the entire lifecycle of the food we eat, the clothes we wear and the products we buy, from production to consumption and beyond.

This exciting role, based in our Citizen Behaviour Change team, includes developing, managing and delivering impactful social media campaigns that support our UK brands in reaching citizens and inspiring them to adopt sustainable behaviours that help protect our planet. A key part of the delivery team, you will work across all of WRAP’s citizen-facing brands including Love Food Hate Waste, Recycle Now, Love Your Clothes and Clear on Plastics, and will be involved in the development of any new campaigns.

Reporting to the Head of Citizen Behaviour Change, we are looking for an experienced social media professional with expert knowledge of digital marketing. You need a hands-on understanding of major marketing trends and tactics – from influencer engagement to social media analytics – and experience in managing, optimising, and evaluating social media channels for national brands. The role also involves overseeing search marketing for WRAP’s citizen brands and liaising with internal teams and agencies to align social media and search delivery with other communications outputs. Working with multiple internal campaign teams is a large part of the role.

We welcome applicants with client-side and/or agency experience – particularly in delivering effective B2C/consumer engagement campaigns. Please see details below on how to apply.

This role is a fixed term contract until June 2021 and a full-time position. Please note we are looking for a candidate who can start immediately. In the current circumstances, flexibility in location can be discussed but ideally candidates will be able to regularly access our head office in Banbury.

Please refer to the job description below for further details about what the role entails and the job essentials.

If you have any further questions please email jobs@wrap.org.uk.

WRAP welcomes applications from suitably qualified applicants, regardless of religion, age, gender, sexual orientation, gender reassignment, marital status, disability or race.

To apply, please complete an application form and email to jobs@wrap.org.uk, enclosing your CV.

Interviews will be held virtually in the week commencing 6th July.

WRAP has achieved ISO9001:2015 certification for our design, development, management and delivery of programmes and projects which provide resource sustainable solutions.
