Funding

WRAP has a range of support available which, at times includes the provision of funding. Further details about the funding and support that is currently available can be found below.

  • Capital grant funding

When a strategic need or market failure has been identified by WRAP, capital grants are made available to help address this shortfall. Capital grants are not available on a rolling basis and each programme has a specific launch date and deadline date for application.

Who is eligible?

This is dependent on the type of programme that is being offered.  Often there are no restrictions on the type or size of organisation that can apply.  Sometimes the size and location of an applicant can affect the amount of funding they are eligible for and applicants will need to look at the specific application document carefully.

Organisations such as local authorities, governmental bodies, charities, and community associations can apply but you will need to bear in mind that the project must demonstrate that it can be commercially sustainable in the long term and that it does not rely on grant funding.

To view a copy of a typical Capital Grant agreement please click here , this is a generic sample document and is applicable to all of the capital contracts so it is not specific to any one programme.
