INCREASE III (Reuse) Programme
Closing date: 8/1/2010
WRAP Scotland is launching a grant scheme designed to improve infrastructure for the reuse of household goods by community projects across Scotland.
As part of its Zero Waste Strategy, the Scottish Government has identified a need to invest in the infrastructure for reuse of household items across Scotland, in particular:
- To recover items for reuse from civic amenity sites (household waste and recycling centres) in partnership with local authorities;
- To fill gaps in current reuse service provision (geographically and by material type)
£800,000 has been made available from the Scottish Government’s INCREASE III programme to support these aims.
Grants are available to community sector organisations within Scotland and can be used to support up to 50% of eligible costs.
All projects must be fully operational by 31st March 2011.
