New Capital Funding for MRF Developments in Scotland to:
• Improve the outputs material quality and/or
• Generate additional tonnage for recycling and/or
• Divert additional material from landfill in Scotland
REMake offers two levels of fully funded support for manufacturing businesses to help introduce or increase the use of recycled materials in products, processes or packaging.
This grant scheme from WRAP Cymru offers capital support to SME manufacturing businesses in non-convergence areas that want to use recyclate as an input, or increase recyclate use in manufacturing processes or packaging.
This grant scheme is designed to significantly increase recycling rates in Wales by providing financial support to organisations which are able to offer recycling services for Welsh SMEs in non-convergence areas.
A waste capacity study carried out jointly by Advantage West Midlands (AWM) and the Regional Technical Advisory Body on Waste (RTAB) forecasts that by 2020/21 the West Midlands (WM) will have a significant waste infrastructure capacity gap. AWM is particularly concerned about commercial and industrial waste (C&I), which can cost a business 4% of turnover in terms of disposal costs.
