Aims
This workshop aims to help delegates to apply the information in the guidance document to successfully plan, implement /improve, communicate, monitor and evaluate recycling collections schemes for Flats.
Target Audience
This workshop targets individuals with responsibility for developing, delivering, communicating and monitoring collection systems for flats.
Learning Outcomes
Upon completion of the workshop participants will be able to
- identify and assess the drivers for planning and implementing recycling schemes for flats;
- identify, source, assess and use information effectively to plan and implement recycling schemes for flats;
- identify key stakeholders and actively encourage their involvement in the planning and implementation process;
- critically evaluate key operational and communications issues that can impact on the successful implementation of schemes designed to maximise the collection of recyclables from flats;
- develop appropriate scheme aims and objectives;
- identify and assess the resources needed for successful scheme implementation and understand the potential risks of under-resourcing during the planning, implementation and maintenance phases of the scheme; and
- develop an action plan for a scheme roll-out or improvement to include communications and monitoring evaluation.
