An event for growers and consultants to learn about the benefits to crops and soils, production and use of BSI PAS100 Compost.

  • The benefits of BSI PAS 100 Compost – Dr Audrey Litterick, SAC/Earthcare Technical Scotland
  • Compost use on spring and winter barley, WRAP funded trials at SAC Experimental site at MacRobert Farm, Aberdeen
  • Introduction to Compost Production – Andrew Simpson, Fife Council
  • Using BSI PAS 100 Compost within the rotation – Dr Audrey Litterick

Aims

Lunch will be provided, followed by a short afternoon site visit to Fife Council’s new compost facility at Lower Melville Wood Landfill Site, Ladybank, Fife KY15 7LU.
