MRF Conference
On Wednesday 8 November 2006, WRAP, sponsored by Veolia Environmental Services, hosted a forum for senior delegates working in the MRF (Materials Recovery Facility) sector.
The delegates represented Waste Disposal Authorities, waste management companies, policy makers, waste consultants, business and investment and the reprocessor communities.
Opening with a keynote speech from Jonathon Porritt, clearly underlining the role of recycling within the carbon and waste management agenda, the day followed 3 key themes:
- Capacity and requirements
- Quality and standards
- Investment and procurement
