'Capers' use biodegradable biopolymer containers at its salad bars and various other areas. They are made from 'Nature Works PLA' and Capers collect customers' used containers in-store and send them for industrial composting.

Added Value
The biopolymer containers cost Capers slightly less than their previous PET containers, because the previous containers were a higher guage and more expensive than most supermarkets' containers.
