Reusable Transit Packaging Conference

WRAP held an event in Birmingham on 24 April 2007 about reusable packaging. It was aimed at helping the retail sector and its supply chain understand the advantages of adopting reusable transit packaging (RTP) systems.

Around 50 people attended the conference which covered presentations and discussions around successful examples of RTP and ideas on how barriers have been overcome.

The day was chaired by Roger Mason, Chairman of British Furniture Manufacturers and speakers were from WRAP, The Quality Furniture Company, Ikea, Linpac, Argos and B&Q. There were three breakout sessions in the afternoon covering Furniture, Kitchens and White Goods.
