We provide help with:

Raising finance

Raising external finance still presents a major challenge for many companies. The Business  Development Service can work with you to assess the different types of finance available and identify which would best suit your needs while also helping you to meet finance-providers’ requirements.
Raising finance

If you are in the early stages of planning for your business we can provide a business plan template or if you are already developing a business plan we can review initial drafts, offer guidance to strengthen or enhance your plan and assess if there is any further assistance we can provide.

WRAP's material specialists help in the review process and provide market expertise, technical knowledge and other information to enable businesses like yours to make more informed decisions.

For more extensive assistance a business seeking our involvement needs to clearly demonstrate that they are, or will be, recycling/reprocessing a significant amount of waste material and are commercially viable.

Access to grants

When a strategic need or market failure has been identified by WRAP, capital grants are made available to help address this shortfall. WRAP capital grants can only be used as financial support towards the capital costs of a project i.e. plant, equipment, and infrastructure i.e. they cannot be used to subsidise operational costs. To be eligible for assessment, projects must meet the scope and objectives of the specific capital programme.

Access to leases (eQuip)

Under eQuip, WRAP will guarantee the future value of the equipment you want to lease, which has the effect of reducing your regular payments. The value of the eQuip guarantee will relate to the expected market conditions for disposing of the specified equipment at the end of the agreed lease period. Terms are negotiable and can be tailored to meet the expected cash flow of your business. Unlike overdraft facilities, lease facilities are not generally repayable on demand or subject to annual reviews.
