PAS 102: Specification for processed glass for secondary end markets
There are two very valuable specifications applicable to glass in manufacturing, sports, and water filtration applications.
Crushed, processed, glass can be used as granular media for a number of applications, including: filtration applications such as in the treatment of potable water, municipal wastewater, and industrial wastewater, as a fluxing agent in brick manufacture, in blast abrasive applications where granular or powdered abrasive is fired at a substrate by high-pressure air or water, and in sports turf and related applications.
