Head of Products & Services
Sarah has fifteen years’ experience managing programmes in sustainability and resource efficiency. She joined WRAP in October 2006 as a project manager in the manufacturing team progressing to programme manager guiding WRAP’s activity on Sustainable Procurement, Sustainable Events and Reuse.
As Head of Products and Services Sarah now leads WRAP’s work across 2 strategic areas; Clothing & Textiles and Electricals and Electronic Products. This programme covers activity on the Sustainable Clothing Action Plan (SCAP), the Love Your Clothes consumer brand, the Life+ funded REBus, ECAP and CRM recovery projects and the Electrical and Electronic Equipment Sustainability Action Plan (esap).
During her time at WRAP, Sarah has been responsible for managing the WRAP input into the Waste Protocols Project, a joint Environment Agency and WRAP initiative, which won the Better Regulation category at the National Business Awards in 2009. She also worked on London 2012 with LOCOG, leading her team to be awarded the London 2012 Inspire Mark for WRAP's Resource Management Plan (RMP) tool.
Prior to joining WRAP, Sarah worked for the Confederation of Paper Industries (CPI), leading their work on recovered paper through the PaperChain initiative. Sarah is a member of the Chartered Institute for Waste Management and the Chartered Institute of Management, and holds a Postgraduate Diploma in Marketing.
