Head of Food Sustainability
Dr David Moon is Head of Food Sustainability at WRAP. His team works with organisations between farm and fork to reduce waste through practical actions, including consumer behaviour change.
A materials scientist by training, he has worked for over 20 years on environmental objectives in transport, construction and consumer products. His work at WRAP since 2003 has included the Halving Waste to Landfill Commitment in the construction sector and the Sustainable Clothing Action Plan 2020 Commitment. Immediately prior to joining WRAP, he managed the Innovation & Growth Team for the Environmental Goods & Services Sector at the Department for Trade & Industry (on secondment from AEA Technology).
