The resource management sector presents significant growth opportunities for UK-based businesses but it requires unprecedented investment, the Green Investment Bank estimates that £300-400bn of investment is required for infrastructure by 2020.  Financing for new infrastructure is a key barrier to be addressed in order to achieve profitable growth that provides new employment as well as environmental benefits.

To stimulate sustainable economic growth investment is needed from the private sector working in partnership with the public sector.  Government wants to better understand what can be done to encourage investment supply.

The key objectives for the symposium are to:

  • Allow Ministers to listen directly to your views on the challenges and opportunities to the sector
  • Share and hear other opinions in a proactive discussion
  • Network with senior respresentatives of the finance and operational sectors

The event will operate under Chatham House Rule.

Please register your attendance below.  Agenda is available for your information.  Joining instructions for the day will be sent closer to the event.  To see if there are still places available, please contact Claire Kneller (
