Welsh Assembly Government: Interim policy statement on C&D waste

This interim policy statement will be reviewed in light of changes that may emerge from the consultation on the new Wales Waste Strategy ‘Towards Zero Waste’ later in 2009.

In the interim, the Assembly has agreed to the WRAP 'Halving Waste to Landfill' campaign promoted through construction advocacy projects in Wales.

WRAP Cymru strengthens regional support to small-medium recycling businesses

WRAP’s expanded business development service will enable small-medium (SME) recycling businesses across Wales to draw on local expertise through regionally placed business advisors. SMEs in the recycling or reprocessing industry can receive free support and advice from WRAP at any stage of their business development.
