What is WRAP Doing in My Region?

    Glass

    WRAP funded testing of a recycled-glass filtration method at Yorkshire Water and at North Yorkshire vegetable producer JE Hartley. The trials demonstrated an improvement in the quality of effluent discharges.

    Recycled glass is used as a grit blast abrasive by K Blasting on a Challenge Yacht in TorbayWRAP has also funded trials of a recycled-glass abrasive at Hull shipyard Dunstons Ship Repairs.

    Construction and demolition

    WRAP contributed £560,000 to a £1.9 million state-of-the-art recycling centre for construction and demolition waste. This Rotherham facility was built by TK Lynskey Excavations. more
