    plastic bottles and trays which can be recycled ready for collection. Used in SME recycling feasibility trials.WRAP helped Redcar company Waste Exchange Services to lease equipment to increase its plastic recycling. With assistance from WRAP through the Equip scheme the company were able to lease one of the most powerful EREMA extrusion machines in Europe. Capacity at the Redcar site has doubled to 14,000 tonned per year with two processing lines now operating 24/7 – both designed to convert scrap plastic into top grade compound. more

    Compost

    Northumberland based company DJ & SJ recycling were looking to expand their existing composting operations and produce compost to PAS 100 specifications. WRAP provided funding for an interim manager as an experience additional resource to help move the business forward. more
