Phillip Ward scoops highest honour at National Recycling Awards
Phillip Ward, former Director of Local Government Services for WRAP, was awarded a Lifetime Achievement award at the 2011 National Recycling Awards, held at the London Hilton, Park Lane last night (14th July 2011).

Statement - WRAP response to the Government Review of Waste Policy in England 2011
Dr Liz Goodwin, Chief Executive of WRAP said today.
“I welcome the focus on prevention of waste and the drive towards a zero waste economy that the Government’s Waste Review for England signals today. This can help bring about great environmental and economic benefits for England. WRAP will be working closely with businesses, consumers and local authorities to achieve those gains.

Update: WRAP Budget
WRAP yesterday (20th December 2010) received confirmation that its core funding from one of its four funders, Defra, for 2011/12, will be £34.7 million, compared with £48.1 million in 2010/11 – a reduction of £13.4 million (28%).
