Part B -Waste Prevention Activity
Part B - Waste Prevention Activity
Part B - Overview
The second part of the toolkit will help you introduce successful waste prevention initiatives in your area. It focuses on three main types of activity, each of which will require some sort of service infrastructure:
- Home and community composting.
- Community re-use.
- Product-service approaches (eg nappy laundering).
Individual sections explain what each activity involves, its potential impact, key issues and how to address them. A wide range of ideas and suggestions are included that will enable you to set up, run and evaluate effective, well-targeted initiatives.
