Communications advice and funding
The advisory service is fully funded and there is funding available for English local authorities for recycling and waste prevention campaigns including the Recycle for London programme. If you think you can benefit from our support please complete an application form. We will follow up applications with discussions to identify the appropriate types of support.
Our communications advice ensures resources are targeted at communications that are proven and cost efficient. We have funded around 200 local campaigns maximising the use of the Recycle Now and Love Food Hate Waste brands. We can provide support and advice on:
- Planning and delivering effective and efficient communications
- Preparing communication materials
- Providing training to staff and partners on the key messages of the national campaign
- Using the suite of Recycle Now and Love Food Hate Waste national campaign materials locally
The sort of activities we fund are:
- Various printed literature
- Site and vehicle signage
- Targeted PR work
