20 litre brown bin, 7 litre brown kitchen caddy

Description of trial area:
Approximately 1,550 properties in mostly urban areas (high rises and apartments that are unsuited to the brown garden waste bins), but a few rural locations

Liners provided:
Initially a roll of 20 liners provided with the bins. Will either call hotline or leave a message for crew for more liners.

Support supplied by WRAP:
Purchase of containers and liners. Communications support. Monitoring and evaluation

Collection vehicle used:
Initially a minimac 7.5 tonne vehicle. Awaiting delivery of a more purpose built 7.5 tonne vehicle 

Collection contractor:
Newtownabbey BC

IVC facility being used and location:
Glen Farm, 29 Ballyvannon Road, Glenavy, Co Antrim BT29 4QL where it is heat treated and sterilized and used as a bio fuel.

Blue 240 litre  bin for paper only, collected 6 weekly. Red kerbie box for other dry mixed recyclables collected fortnightly
