5,300 in rural market town mixed housing but not high rise/density

Liners provided:
Initial delivery then on request by crew

Support supplied by WRAP:
Communication and publicity.  Kitchen caddy and kerbside bucket purchase.  Staff and vehicle costs.  Contractor costs.  Monitoring and Evaluation

Collection vehicle used:
Spot hired 3.5 tonne compacting with bin lift initially. Now using small electric vehicle

Anaerobic Digestion - Ludlow

Existing food waste collections:
Yes – co-mingled biowaste - fortnightly (not in trial area)

Existing garden waste collection:
Yes, free, 240 litre wheeled bin - alternate week collections

240 litre wheeled bin - alternate weekly collections

Recycling collection – frequency and containers used:
53 litre box alternate weekly collections – glass, cans , paper
