Interim Technical Support for knowledge sharing to deliver early mobilisation of the Hospitality and Food Service Agreement (HFS002)

Closing date:
26 October, 2012 - 12:00

The purpose of this work is to accelerate mobilisation and delivery of WRAP activities with the Hospitality and Food Service (HaFS) Sector enabling signatories to the Hospitality and Food Service Agreement (HaFSA) to make progress towards a 5% reduction in waste arising and an increase in recycling to 70%.

WRAP envisages this support will best be delivered by one individual, on a part time basis (around 2.5 days a week for up to six months), working at favourable rates. We envisage that at least 2 days per week will be based in WRAP’s Banbury offices.

The work will include:

  • Capturing and integrating the key findings from the various groups, projects and activities commissioned by the HaFS team and elsewhere across WRAP.
  • Developing feedback mechanisms and systems to achieve this coordination, integration and knowledge transfer in the longer term.
  • Identifying the critical new thinking and changes in practice which should be at the core of HaFSA implementation.
