Uniforms & Laundry services

Contracts for textiles may merely be for the provision of required uniforms and other clothing/textiles or for a laundry service. They may increasingly focus on service provision with flexible solutions, for example potentially enabling up or down-scaling as necessary. This may provide a preferred solution over leasing, as the latter may not provide the best long term solution, due to potential inflexibility and tax allowance implications.

Depending on the scope of the textiles service, changes to textiles procurement – such as the outsourcing of laundries – may have implications for other categories of procurement like waste contracts, estates & facilities services, or associated energy systems and consumables.
