Resource efficiency in the refurbishment sector focuses on ‘greening’ the existing building stock in the UK including domestic, commercial and industrial buildings.
Our work on refurbishment looks at fit out and minor and major refurbishment. It aims to:
- support implementation projects that demonstrate resource efficiency improvements;
- provide guidance and supporting case studies to facilitate improved resource efficiency; and
- quantify the cost and environmental savings for taking action to reduce the impacts of refurbishment projects and products.
Refurbishment case studies
WRAP has collated a series of case studies looking at resource efficient refurbishment projects. Each case study highlights how the project has identified opportunities to implement resource efficiency improvements before and/or during refurbishment.
