In 2011 a model was developed to enable collection, treatment and reprocessing businesses to understand the flow of Electrical and Electronic Equipment (EEE) products from end of use and point of disposal through treatment and on to material recovery. This model has been updated to provide estimates of product material composition.
Phase 1 - Market flows and sales data of EEE
This summary report provides initial data on EEE sales and estimates of EEE products reaching the end of their first useful life within a given year (2009-2020).
Phase 2 - The composition of Waste Electrical and Electronic Equipment (WEEE)
This summary report includes detail of product material composition by WEEE category and estimates of material value. NB. Value is based on material price and does not consider treatment costs.
