Operating principle: Materials are fed into the LB series Pulveriser via an infeed hopper.  The system comprises twin ‘breaker’ shafts comprising multi-blade breaker knives which contra-rotate, pulverising the packaging and releasing the contents against an interchangeable breaker bar grille.  The product can be collected in a number of ways dependent upon the process requirement.

The LB Series Pulveriser is designed, manufactured and assembled in the UK.  All systems are fully supported and maintained from Meltog’s factory in Leeds.

Guarantees provided by the supplier: Standard 12 month warranty based upon single shift operation covering non-wear parts. Enhanced warranty packages are available.

Annual operating costs for maintenance and consumables (%): Providing operating and maintenance procedures are followed, maintenance and consumables costs are minimal.  Whilst specific costs will depend upon usage and application for budget purposes a figure of up to 5% should be considered

Required service Intervals: Basic regular maintenance is required, as defined in the operating manual. Meltog recommend a minimum service interval of 6 months.
