We have an exciting opportunity for a Business Engagement Specialist to join us on a fixed term contract or secondment basis, until the end of March 2019, working within the hospitality and food service sector.  The successful post-holder will be responsible for working with major businesses to support them to change their business practices, reducing the environmental impact of food and drink placed on the UK market and associated packaging.  They will do this by developing and maintaining excellent relationships with influential individuals in both senior and operational roles within organisations that are signatories to the Courtauld Commitment 2025 and the UK Plastics Pact.

In order to be successful in this role, candidates will need to have previous experience of working with businesses in the hospitality and food service sector, in a position that enabled influence and created change.  Evidence of building and delivering own professionalism which brought value to organisations and facilitating change with business teams are also essential.  Another key essential for this role is evidence of ability to build and maintain relationships, using a range of influencing and negotiation skills.
